Introduction Print

Design Outcome

The community element describes the opportunity to realise increased value from a subdivision (and subsequent development) by achieving, or contributing to, a clear identity for a neighbourhood or new settlement.

Places with strong and coherent identities are places that people want to live and work in and that people choose to visit.  Carefully managing design details and how developments evolve over time can contribute to how residents and visitors experience and place and their willingness to stay or return.
