Version 2.0 of the Earthworks and Geotechnical Code of Practice supersedes Version 1.6 and it becomes operative from 1 May 2023. However, for the purpose of transitioning to the latest Version 2.0 it is acknowledged that for applications in-process at this time the earlier version will remain valid for up to 3 months (i.e. until 31 July 2023). On a case by case basis and/or where appropriate, the Auckland Council Regulatory Services reserve the right to ‘grant’ longer transitioning timeframe.
